Eligibility Details: NABARD Jobs 2021 – Student Internship Scheme Vacancy

The objective of the scheme is to allocate short-term work / projects / studies useful and relevant to NABARD to talented students pursuing postgraduate degrees in agriculture in agriculture and allied disciplines (veterinary, fisheries, etc.), agriculture. Business, Economics, Social Sciences and Management Institutes / Universities of Reput or Students 5 years integrated courses including Law and 4th year of their course. The scheme is expected to provide students with valuable feedback with a fresh perspective through studies / projects conducted on subjects of interest to NABARD.

1. Post Name: Student Internship Scheme (SIS)

2. Number of posts: Total number of seats for NABARD SIS 2021-22 is 75 (65 seats for Regional Offices / TEs and 10 seats for Head Office).

3. Eligibility:

(I). Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture and allied subjects (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.) (first year completion), Agri-business, Economics, Social Science and Management from Institutes / Universities or students pursuing 5 year integrated course . Law and Indian students studying in the 4th year of their course and studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2021-22.

(ii). No TA / DA will be paid to the students appearing for the interview.

4. Stipend / month {minimum 8 weeks (2 months) to maximum 12 weeks (3 months): 18000 per month

5. Projects Supported under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), Longterm-Irrigation Fund (LTRF), Warehouse Infrastructure Fund, Food Processing Fund, NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Cooperative Bank, Direct Refinance Assistance , Producer organizations such as MSC (Loans + Grants) including PACS, Dairy Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund, Swachh Bharat Mission – Rural, Production and Marketing Loans and Conversion Loans for Production Loans, Green Climate Fund, CBS, Computerization of Rural Banks, etc. .

6. Watershed projects, spring-shed watershed development programs, TDF projects, SHGs training and digitization, capacity building, skill development programs such as LEDP, MEDP and others, UPNOM projects, off-farm development projects and supports and development initiatives under NABARD Other areas of access. In addition, the study sample can cover the Mix Unit / Respondents (without NABARD’s support / intervention) to make comparative evaluation and qualitative input / feedback.

7. Implementation of the scheme: The entire process of planning will be done through the SIS web portal.

Me. This scheme will be implemented for 12 weeks between 01 April 2013 to 31 August 2019 (orientation – 1 week, collection of data / field visits – 2 to 4 weeks, draft report 3 to 4 weeks, finalization of report 2 From 3 weeks).

ii. The scheme has been extended to HO / RO / TEs by limiting the number of seats to 75. The wise allocation of Head Office / Regional Office / Training Establishment seats is given in Annex I.

iii. Upon selection of students, HO / RO / TE can provide ‘one subject to each student’ as identified and advise the student to start the study as soon as possible.

iv. Selected students will undergo a one-week orientation program on NABARD’s operations, methodology, collection of raw data, data analysis and interpretation, brief introduction on presentation of draft report.

v. An appropriate officer from HO / RO / TE may be designated as a mentor to oversee the implementation and monitoring of the scheme. Each mentor will be given different login credentials.

vi. The duration of the field trip should be fully based, subject to a maximum of 30 days.

vii. HO / RO / TES should ensure the quality of the report before its in-depth review, editing and finalization at DAR Head Office. Mentors should ensure that the chapter on ors’ summaries and recommendations should clearly derive key findings and recommendations from the study report.

viii. On satisfactory completion of the internship by the students, CGM / OIC may issue a certificate of internship to the students with a copy to the college / university, if required.

8. Monitoring of plan:

Me. The plan should be closely watched by the respective offices and in regular intervals the entire assigned work should be submitted in the prescribed format through the SIS web portal.

ii. Details regarding the students who have studied, are to be uploaded on the portal in the prescribed format and time frame.

iii. The HO / RO / TE should regularly review the progress after implementation of the plan.
