Qualification Details:

India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC Ltd) was incorporated in 1966 under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 with the main objective to construct, take over, manage hotels, beach resorts, traveller’s lodges/restaurants and to provide transport, entertainment, shopping and consultancy services. ITDC is a Schedule ‘B’ /Mini-ratna CPSE in Tourist Services Sector, with the administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Tourism. Its Registered and Corporate Offices are in New Delhi. The authorized and paid up capital of the Company was Rs. 150 crore and Rs. 85.77 crore respectively as on 31.03.2020.

2. Job description and responsibilities are to report to a member of the Board of Directors (Finance) and to the Chairman and Managing Director. He / she is overall in charge of the accounts of finance and organization and is responsible for the implementation and formulation of finance and accounting as well as for meeting the goals and objectives of the company, which are related to the objectives and objectives of the company. He / she is also designated by the Board as Chief Financial Officer (Cfo), a key managerial person under Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Employment status: Applicant should be employed in a regular capacity on the date of application, along with the date of interview – and in a contractual / ad-hoc capacity – in one of the following: – A) Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE) ) (Including full-time full-time directors on the board of a CPSE); (B) Involvement of the armed forces of the Union Government Union and All India Services; (C) State Public Sector Enterprises (Spse) where the annual turnover is * rs 1000 crores or more; (D) Private sector in the company where the annual turnover is * 1000 crore or more. Preference will be given to candidates from listed companies. (* Average audited annual change for the three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post will be considered for applying the sanctioned limit)

4. Eligibility: (i) Applicant should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or full time MBA / PGDM course with good academic record from a recognized university / institute. (ii) Organized Group Officers) A ‘Account Services [i.e. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defense Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounting and Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounting Service] are exempted from these educational qualifications by working at appropriate level. (iii) In addition, applicants from the Central Government / Union / All India Services Armed Forces will also be exempted from educational qualification (i) Applicants as per (i) above have ‘relevant experience’ mentioned in para 4. (iii) below. In respect of the organized group ‘A’ Accounting Service / Central Government / Union / All India Services Armed Forces applicants, Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / MBA / PGDM will be a desirable educational qualification. Question: (I) Applicant should be a Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with a good academic record from a recognized University / Institute or a full time MBA / PGDM course. (Ii) Officers of organized group [a ‘Account Services [i.e. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Defense Accounts Service, Indian Railway Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian P&T Accounting and Finance Service and Indian Cost Accounting Service] Working at the appropriate level is exempted from these educational qualifications. (Iii) In addition, applicants from the Central Government / Union / All India Services / Army will be exempted from educational qualification as per (I) provided the applicants have prior experience as mentioned in para 4. (Iii) below. In respect of organized group applicants / Account / Central Government / Union / All India Services Armed Forces, Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / mba / pgdm will be a desirable educational qualification.

5. Experience: (I) The applicant should have at least five years of cumulative experience at a senior level in the organization of a representative in the field of Corporate Financial Management / Corporate Accounts during the last ten years. Age: Age of superannuation 58 years , Minimum: 40 Years , Maximum: 2 years residual service as on the date of vacancy w.r.t. the date of superannuation.

Undertaking By The Applicant:

An applicant has to give an undertaking as a part of the application that he/she will join the post, if selected. If an applicant does not give such undertaking, the application would be rejected.

(c) Further, if a candidate conveys his/her unwillingness to join after the issue of offer of appointment, he/she would be debarred for a period of two years from the date of offer of appointment for being considered for a Board level post in any CPSE.
2. For candidates from CPSE a. If a candidate conveys his/her unwillingness to join after the interview is held, he/she would be debarred for a period of two years from the date of interview, for being
considered for a Board level post in any CPSE other than the one to which the candidate belongs. b. Further, if a candidate conveys his/her unwillingness to join after the issue of offer of appointment, he/she would be debarred for a period of two years from the date of offer of appointment for being considered for a Board level post in any CPSE other than the one to which the candidate belongs.

3. For candidates from SPSE/ Private Sector a. If a candidate conveys his/her unwillingness to join after the interview is held, he/she would be debarred for a period of two years from the date of interview, for being considered for a Board level post in any CPSE. b. Further, if a candidate conveys his/her unwillingness to join after the issue of offer of appointment, he/she would be debarred for a period of two years from the date of offer of appointment for being considered for a Board level post in any CPSE.

4. In the above cases, no request for relaxation or otherwise would be entertained.
