Qualification Details:

1. Post Name: Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (01 No.)
ii. Salary: Rs. 20,000/- PM + HRA per month as per the Institute norms
iii. Essential Qualification: First class Master Degree in Science including Earth Sciences / Hydrology / Remote Sensing & GIS / Environmental Science/ Chemistry from a recognized university
iv. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in the climate change, Remote Sensing & GIS, relevant field, etc.
v. Nature of Duties/ Project: In-house Project-1: Water Security in Himalaya through Spring Ecosystem Assessment and Management

2. Post Name: Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (01 No.)
ii. Salary: Rs. 20,000/- PM + HRA per month as per the Institute norms
iii. Essential Qualification: First class Master Degree in Rural Development/ Operational Research/ Environmental Science/ MSW/ Sustainable Development/ Computer Application/ Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized university
iv. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having experience/ knowledge of field survey, sampling, census/SHG study, training and capacity building, economic & social survey, data collection, syntheses and technical report writing, rural enterprise development, natural resource based income generating activities, good computer skills, development of web based software for rural settlement, village kiosks
v. Nature of Duties/ Project: In-house Project-2: Community Driven Eco-smart Model Village Development to Improve Livelihoods and Foster Ecological Security in the Himalaya

iii. Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Science from a recognized university

v. Nature of Duties/ Project: In-house Project-3: Fostering Climate Smart Communities in the Indian Himalayan Region

4. Post Name: Junior Project Fellow (JPF) (01 No.)
ii. Salary: Rs. 20,000/- PM + HRA per month as per the Institute norms
iii. Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Bioscience/ Medicinal and Aromatic Plants from a recognized University
iv. Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in plant ecology, plant taxonomy, ex-situ and in-situ conservation, medicinal plant cultivation, PBR preparation, RS-GIS application, organization of meetings & training programs, data analysis, report writing/ presentation skills and capable of carrying out field research in higher altitude regions.
v. Nature of Duties/ Project: In-house Project-4: Mainstreaming Himalayan Biodiversity for Sustainable Development
